Rajasthan High Court

Jaipur, Rajasthan, India

The Jaipur Bench of the Rajasthan High Court complex is spread over 12.7 acres. Within the limited area, it is designed to cater to the huge footfall of litigants and advocates and thus had to be robust.

The existing open space adjacent to the Advocates block with the existing trees was designed as the Advocates courtyard to be used like an open office with built in benches and tables plugged in.

The front foreground of the building was designed as the Justice Garden with the Dhammachakra (the wheel of justice motif being the centre-piece. The existing trees were retained in the landscape design.

Landscape design focusses on providing a safe environment for users, be it seamless accessibility, safe pedestrian & vehicular movement, or visual surveillance.
